It is a law that independent automotive repair shops can maintain and service your warranty. All consumers are protected by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). It prohibits a manufacturer from voiding the new vehicle's warranty or a vehicle's extended warranty because service was performed by a Non-Dealer/Independent Repair shop.
Per the FTC, “It's illegal for a dealer to deny your warranty coverage simply because you had warranty work or routine maintenance or repairs performed by our automotive shop. Routine maintenance can include anything from oil changes, tire rotations and belt replacement, to fluid checks, flushes, new brake pads, and inspections.” It is also important to note that the “Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for a company to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty for the simple cause that you used an aftermarket or recycled part.”
One of the major perks of bringing your vehicle to an independent repair shop is the ability to make your money go further. Many times, warranties will have a limit or a deductible. Our goal is to make your warranty work for you.
Lastly, If you are on the fence about whether or not to purchase an AFTERMARKET or EXTENDED warranty. We suggest opening a savings account for your car and putting back money for possible breakdowns. While warranties are great the limitations can sometimes outweigh the benefits.

Found this place on yahoo as we were driving home from Yosemite because we heard a noise coming from the engine. We called them to see if they could fit us in at 11am on a weekday, they were very friendly and said yes. Once we got there they told us what it might be, we told them we were going to walk to get something to eat and they said it wasn't a great area and that they would take us. We told them that we wanted breakfast and they took us to the best place in town. BBQ pit, food was phenomenal. They called us about an hour later with a quote and told us it would be a few hours. They picked us up at a local coffee shop when it was ready.

This is by far the best automotive shop in the valley!! The owners have been recognized in the local news paper for helping a stranded motorists and even achieving shop of the year. I will note its sad to see a LOSER from Oakland name Cecil write a poor review because he feels he paid to much. You should've done the same job in the bay goof ball they wouldn't look at your car for 170.00 as you mention clown. I notice you didn't complain about the quality of work. You should have picked up a mechanic from your local Home Depot. Remember you get what you pay for. Being in business in Ca isn't cheap and frankly the owner doesn't even have to discuss his profits with you. Your probably a Bernie sanders or Obama guy an expect everything for free. Looking at your reviews I can tell your a high quality guy lol Maaco paint company seriously. It sickens me to see a moron like you who knew the price, paid it, had no issues with the car. These guys are AMAZING!!! My car needed some repairs and they were half the price of Razarri Ford. And they got it done in 3 days where Razarri said 2 weeks!! Super kind and kept us up to date with what was going on. I wish there was an extra star to give them! -Robyn R
